General rules for the Library users:

1. Users must have the Library membership card him / her otherwise cannot use the book on his / her Identity card.

2. One person can reserve maximum three books for him / her own purpose of use as reference in the Library.

3. Every user’s have to paid per book per day Rs. 1.00 Rupees after due date.

4. Name, designation and time of entry to the Library are to be entered strictly in the register kept at the entrance.

5. No one should write, underline, highlight or draw figure and make comment and remarks in the body of the Library documents and on the Library desk.

6. No one is allowed to tear any page from the Library documents. If it is detected, the offender will be punished as dim fits for including withdrawal of Library facilities available to him /her.

 7. No one shall talk or gossip in the Library and silence should be observed.

8. Authority has the right to withdraw the privilege of using the Library to anyone who misuse Library property or indulges in indiscipline

9. No one shall be allowed to take the Library documents outside the Library without the knowledge      of   the librarian / Library staffs.

10. Nobody is allowed to displace the Newspaper & Journals, Magazines from  the Journal section. After reading, the same should be taken in the proper place.

 11. While users are entering, their belongings are to be kept in the allotted rack.

 12. Library membership card is not transferable.

13. Please help us to keep the Library books neat and clean.

14. However Bags are strictly prohibited in Library.

15. The use of Library is strictly restricted to the

 Staffs and students of College of Medical Sciences.

How to make (get) Library Membership (Card)

This is general information for all the readers of the College of Medical Sciences who are interested in being the member of the COMS Library are requested to fill the registration form. The form is available in the Academic section and also in Library. Please do not try to use the Library without Library card. It is necessary & compulsory for all the students
